This T&G redwood was originally used to construct the Richardson Bay Bridge in Marin, then salvaged in 1956 by the principals of Walker Moody Architects. In 1961, the lumber was incorporated into a notable residence in Tiburon as roof decking, and then was salvaged yet again in 2006 to allow for development of a new structure. Nominal 2″ x 10″ x 16′-22′ Net 1 3/4″ x 9″ (70) pieces. $27 per linear foot. Mostly clear, some small tight knots. Rough sawn one side, surfaced one side. Some nail holes consistent with use.
