Description Inspiration for the Queen Bee & Daisy Necklace I am very fortunate to have a mature cottage garden, full of flowers of all types. When designing my bumblebee ring, the image that kept popping into my mind was of the bees buzzing in and out of the oxeye daisies in my garden. And so they naturally came into my collection, initially by way of the bumblebee and daisy ring. It has been a popular marriage. The moment I finished modelling my bee & daisy ring, I went into my garden to find two glorious queen bees resting on my washing line. So it was only a matter of time before a queen would enter my collection – initially as a simple queen bee pendant. But the bee and daisy necklace wasn’t far behind. I was so impressed with the size of bees buzzing around our garden, that I chose to model the largest of our bees, the Queen Buff-Tailed Bumblebee. So this queen bee and daisy necklace is a lifesize model of the queen bee and her favourite flower. Material: Sterling Silver Hallmarked or Makers Mark: Hallmarked Dimensions: The oxeye daisy is approx 38mm in diameter with the bumblebee overhanging by about 15mm.
